Home Depot Kids WorkshopLooking for a great FREE activity to do with your kiddos this weekend?  Check out your local Home Depot for their monthly Kids Workshop.  This month’s project is a a FireHouse Bank.

This program is designed for children ages 5 -12 and a parent… to spend some quality time together and learn some skills in the process.  Each child gets a free kit to build their project and an orange apron with their name on it similar to the ones worn by Home Depot employees.  Each time they complete a project they get a special pin to put on their apron.

My kids are only 1.5yo and 3.5yo and they still participate and enjoy this activity…I KNOW Daddy does!

The Home Depot says that the Kids Workshop is offered at every Home Depot from 9am-12pm on the first Saturday of the month…but as always, call your local store to confirm participation before you drive out there!
